Accessibility Statement

Updated: September 2026

Heineken UK Limited and Star Pubs Trading Limited (“we” or “us”) are committed to creating digital experiences that are accessible, inclusive and usable for everyone.

This statement outlines where we are on our digital accessibility journey, what we are working towards and how to contact us if something is not working for you.

Across our digital touch points, including our websites, apps, social media and emails (“digital touchpoints”), we are working towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, at Level AA. This is a widely recognised benchmark for digital accessibility.  This standard supports access for people with a range of needs, including visual, hearing, motor and cognitive differences, and reflects current UK and international best practice.

Our digital touchpoints currently meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA in some areas, but not yet in full. We are actively working to address accessibility limitations as part of our ongoing accessibility improvement programme.

We are aware that some parts of our digital touchpoints may not be fully accessible at present, including:

  • some older documents or downloadable content that may not be fully compatible with screen readers;
  • some images or visual elements where alternative text may be missing or insufficient; and
  • some interactive components that may be more difficult to navigate using a keyboard alone.

We are working towards ensuring that on all of our digital touchpoints you can:

  • zoom up to 200% in most areas without significant loss of content or functionality;
  • navigate most of the website using a keyboard;
  • use assistive technologies such as screen readers, though some content may not yet be fully optimised for this; and
  • adjust colours, contrast and fonts using browser or device settings, where supported.
For guidance on adjusting text size, colours and other browser display settings, visit the W3C guidance on customising your display. You may also find useful AbilityNet’s simple guides to making your device easier to use.

Accessibility is considered throughout the lifecycle of our digital touchpoints, including design, development and content creation.

Our approach reflects HEINEKEN’s commitments to:

  • design content to be clear, simple and easy to understand;
  • test experiences using a combination of automated tools and manual review; and
  • take feedback seriously and use it to drive improvement.

If you experience any difficulty accessing content on our websites or other digital touchpoints, need information in a different format, or have any queries about our digital accessibility journey, we want to hear from you. You can contact us at: accessibility@heineken.co.uk.

Your feedback helps us improve and we will endeavour to respond to and address issues promptly.
